Come Sit With Us.

It started on a trip. A group of brothers, a morning after, and a cup of coffee so thick and dark we started calling it mud. That moment stayed with us — and eventually brought us to Costa Rica.

That's where we met Dylan Aguilera. We didn't place an order online — we went to the farm, stood on the land, and built a real relationship with a family that has been growing coffee in the West Valley for over 60 years.

What's in your cup is that relationship. No cream. No sugar. Just Mudd.

Built for Ritual

Coffee isn't just fuel. It's a pause you can feel.

From Costa Rica, with intention

Our coffee comes from the Aguilera family in Costa Rica’s West Valley region, a family with decades of coffee-growing tradition.

The Family

Not the farm. The people.

Our coffee comes from the Aguilera family in Costa Rica’s West Valley — a family that’s been growing coffee for generations, long before it was trendy to talk about origin.

We’ve walked their land. Shared coffee at their table. Learned how patience, soil, and time shape every cup.

Meet Dylan Aguilera

Dylan Aguilera isn’t just a producer — he’s a steward of tradition and an innovator by choice, not pressure.

He experiments thoughtfully. Protects what matters. And treats coffee as something earned, not rushed.

He’s also a Licensed Q Grader and has competed at a high level in coffee tasting.
